Jumpstarter launched a private beta of a platform that allows users to install frameworks easily, set up new servers, collaborate on source code using git and scale web applications. The platform currently supports WordPress, Drupal, Magento, CodeIgniter, CakePHP, OpenCart, Joomla, Concrete5, Kohana, phpBB and Symfony. Led by CEO Per Jonsson and Hannes Landeholm, the company is based in Stockholm, Sweden and maintains an office in San Francisco. Jumpstarter raised $1.7M in funding from Earlybird Venture Capital, Paua Ventures and business angel Martin Sinner. The company intends to use the funds to improve its solution and expand to the US and other markets.
