Juna.ai
Chorinerstr. 58, Berlin, 10435, Germany
Overview
Juna.ai builds AI agents that integrate with manufacturers’ production tools (for example Aveva or SAP) and use historical sensor data to recommend optimal machine settings. The company uses custom AI models built with open-source tools such as TensorFlow and PyTorch and trains them with reinforcement learning so agents can take actions, not just predict. Today its product operates largely as a copilot that provides real-time guidance to operators, with plans to enable more autonomous actions on repetitive controls. Juna.ai focuses on heavy industries (steel, cement, paper, chemicals, wood, textiles) where energy use and process optimization materially affect margins and emissions. The startup plans to offer off-the-shelf, pre-trained agents and reusable simulation templates to speed deployment across similar machines. It has a handful of German customers, a headcount of six, and recently raised seed funding to scale its technical team.
