Junevity
135 Mississippi Street, San Francisco, CA, 94107, United States
Overview
Junevity develops therapeutics that repress disease-driving transcription factors with small-interfering RNA (siRNA), leveraging its RESET platform that combines human disease omics, genetic linkages, and ML/AI to identify novel targets previously considered undruggable. Its lead candidate, JUN_01, aims to reprogram metabolic tissue for type 2 diabetes and obesity, showing reduced blood glucose, improved insulin sensitivity, significant weight loss, and twice-yearly dosing in preclinical studies. First-in-human trials for JUN_01 are planned for the second half of 2026. Founded out of UCSF in 2023, the company is also building a pipeline of siRNA programs in neurodegeneration and other complex diseases. Junevity’s long-term vision is to extend lifespan and healthspan by applying siRNA reprogramming across major tissues. To date, the company has secured $20 million in Seed funding, providing runway to complete IND-enabling work and launch initial clinical trials. No commercial revenue has yet been generated, as all programs remain preclinical.
