Juno Diagnostics is developing genetic testing solutions to improve access to vital health information, with a lead focus on a next-generation noninvasive prenatal testing (NIPT) solution. Its NIPT product simplifies sample collection, reduces cost and phlebotomy requirements, and aims to expand access to high-quality cfDNA-based screening. The company notes recent endorsements by professional medical societies recognizing cell-free DNA (cfDNA) as the most sensitive and specific screening test for common fetal aneuploidies, which it says expands the addressable market. The founding team previously developed and launched the industry’s first NIPT product while at Sequenom; leadership includes Dirk van den Boom (Founder & CEO), Mathias Ehrich (CSO), and Jim Chauvapun (COO). JunoDx closed an expanded Series A after generating a differentiated product offering and collecting promising clinical data.
