Juno Industries is a Vancouver-based defence technology company focused on building autonomous platforms and communications and sensing capabilities for defence and commercial markets. Last month it announced 'Polar Nexus', an Arctic-ready autonomous platform intended to strengthen communications and enhance sensing and intelligence. The company says it aims to broaden work with the Canadian Armed Forces and to help establish Canada as a sovereign modern defence prime. Juno recently closed an oversubscribed CA$12.0 million financing of subscription receipts to fund company and team expansion, accelerate R&D, pursue M&A opportunities, and develop and deploy needs-based national security solutions. Management described the new capital as enabling faster build-out of technology and teams to support growth.
