Just Breathe O2 CIC operates the only hyperbaric oxygen therapy facility within a 100-mile radius of Dumfries & Galloway, offering specialist 2ATA, non-invasive HBOT for complex health conditions, cancer support, injury recovery, and general wellbeing. Founded and led by Beth Morrison-Findlay, the organisation emphasises community benefit over profit, using a Community Interest Company structure to keep prices affordable. The centre is expanding with a new state-of-the-art, 750 kg four-person chamber at Palmerston Park, greatly increasing capacity and making sessions more comfortable for clients who might experience claustrophobia. This upgrade will allow family members or carers to share sessions and will substantially raise throughput for the service. The expanded facility is slated for a grand opening in March 2026, exactly four years after the organisation first launched. Financially, the company has secured a £180,000 investment from Firstport’s Catalyst Fund to fund the chamber purchase and facility modifications. Additional support has come from local partner Queen of the South FC, which adapted the premises to house the new equipment.
