Overview
JUUNOO designs sustainable, flexible partitioning systems—walls, glass, phone booths and meeting pods—that are easily assembled and reused according to circular value principles. Its patented system enables installations up to seven times faster than traditional methods and claims CO2 reductions of up to 94%. The company sells cost-effective, design-focused interior solutions and has proven traction with clients including Two Trees, Industrious, and Deloitte. JUUNOO has won multiple awards for sustainability and design, including Deloitte Fast 50 – Sustainability Awards (three times), the Henry Van de Velde Ecodesign Gold award, and Red Dot Design awards. The company recently appointed Ruben Verhelst as Head of Europe to bolster its international team. JUUNOO received additional funding to support scaling and sector expansion. JUUNOO develops 100% circular movable partition walls that can be easily relocated or bought back by the company and resold. The partitions are designed to speed installation and increase productivity for architects, builders and construction companies while offering an economic and ecological advantage. The company launched in 2017 and is based in Kortrijk. JUUNOO raised €6.6 million in a Series A that is a mix of capital increase, loans and grants. The round included participation from Saint-Gobain Gyproc, Finindus and existing investors and was supported by Vlaio, Trividend and BNP Paribas Fortis. Post-funding plans include activity in six countries by 2024, continued expansion in the Netherlands, Denmark and the U.S., the opening of a New York office, and development of a digital assistant called JUUNOO Voltage to visualise movable-wall placement.
