Kabilio
Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain
Overview
Kabilio develops a cloud platform that employs generative AI to modernize collaboration between accounting and tax advisory firms and their SME and self-employed clients. Its suite includes intelligent invoice processing that ingests documents through multiple channels and suggests accounting entries with 97 % accuracy, advanced bank reconciliation that links to 99 % of Spanish banks, and a Verifactu-compliant invoicing tool that synchronizes data in real time. Nearly 100 accounting firms are already using the product and report productivity gains of up to 50 %. Founded in 2024 by co-CEOs Jose Ojeda and Álex Valls, the company aims to reduce repetitive manual work and help firms focus on higher-value advisory services. With Spain’s 65,000 advisory firms facing talent shortages and peak-season bottlenecks, Kabilio positions itself as the underlying infrastructure for AI-driven accounting. The startup plans to use newly secured funding to grow its team, build additional features, and accelerate its expansion across the Spanish market. To date, it has raised €4 million in pre-seed financing, including €200,000 in public funding from ENISA.
