KAHTNU Surgical is a surgeon-centric U.S. medical technology company based in Soldotna, Alaska. It offers spine and orthopedic products including the KASILOF Cervical Plate, CHENA-C PEEK Spacer and TALKEETNA Pedicle Screw systems. The company completed a $2.15 million Series A financing led by Kinetic Medical Co., Ltd. to support worldwide sales and marketing expansion and to broaden and accelerate product development. KAHTNU said the funding will help establish quality sales channels in the U.S. and expand its product development capabilities. In July 2020 the company rebranded from Axis360 Surgical to KAHTNU Surgical. KAHTNU also announced a partnership with U.K.-based Ortho Consulting Group to establish and support sales channels outside the United States and supports the Kenai Outreach Foundation.
