Kailera Therapeutics is advancing a differentiated portfolio of obesity treatments spanning both injectable and oral modalities. Its lead candidate, KAI-9531, is an injectable dual GLP-1/GIP receptor agonist that has shown potentially best-in-category weight-loss efficacy and is expected to enter global Phase 3 trials by the end of 2025. The company is also preparing KAI-7535, an oral small-molecule GLP-1 receptor agonist that achieved competitive weight loss in a Phase 2 study in China, for worldwide clinical development.
