KARALIT develops no-mesh CFD software—KARALIT CFD 3D—based on a Direct CFD approach that lets users go from CAD model to CFD simulation in minutes without meshing or lengthy setup. The product targets design-heavy industries including aerospace, automotive, valves and the built environment. The company was founded in 2007 and has headquarters in Italy with offices in the United States and the United Kingdom. KARALIT says the new capital will support ongoing software development, sales operations and new strategies to accelerate market adoption. Management states the investment will speed up an already agile development process, and Vertis praised the team's expertise and the product's potential. Financially, KARALIT announced a €350,000 investment from Vertis SGR, and Vertis holds an option to invest additional capital in upcoming months.
