Karbonsteel Engineering is an engineering solutions provider specializing in structural engineering and fabrication services for steel plants, railway bridges, oil and gas facilities and various industrial sectors. Founded in 2011 and headquartered in Mumbai, the company operates an Umbergaon facility which it plans to expand using IPO proceeds. The company intends to use the raised capital for capital expenditure including construction of new sheds, to strengthen its financial position, repay debt, meet working capital needs and for general corporate purposes. Management says the proceeds will improve efficiency, enable the company to take on larger projects and accelerate growth, according to chairman and managing director Shrenik Kirit Shah. For FY2025 Karbonsteel reported revenue of ₹273.05 crore and a net profit of ₹14.16 crore. Ahead of the IPO it raised ₹16.86 crore from anchor investors via an allocation of slightly over 1.06 million equity shares at ₹159 per share, indicating institutional interest prior to listing.
