Karma

Menachem Begin Street 144, Tel Aviv, 6226431, Israel

Overview

Karma offers an AI-driven shopping assistant and shopping network that lets users save products into a universal cart, receive real-time price and inventory notifications, automatically find coupons at checkout, and earn cashback at hundreds of retailers. The service runs across browser extensions and iOS/Android apps and aggregates pre-purchase services into one ecosystem rather than relying on separate apps. Karma partners with over 30,000 retailers, including Apple, Nordstrom, Farfetch, Target and Nike, and employs nearly 60 people across Tel Aviv, Minsk and the U.S. The company reports roughly three million customers and about 650,000 monthly active users, with user growth of 15–20% month-over-month; Karma users have saved over $144 million so far this year. The average order value across merchant partners is over $100, and Karma’s core audience skews millennial and Gen Z. Future plans include doubling the team within a year, adding new features, investing heavily in AI and machine learning, expanding the user base, and exploring point-of-sale and post-purchase strategies. Shoptagr is a Tel Aviv, Israel–based developer of a browser tool that tracks changing prices on fashion items. Users download a widget and click a +TAG button to save items; the tool then tracks products and notifies users when they go on sale in the desired size and color. The interface uses Pinterest-style tiles and lets users organize items into multiple categories. Shoptagr targets retailers including Asos, Bloomingdales, Net-A-Porter, Shopbop and Nordstrom. Led by CEO and co-founder Jonathan Friedman, the company completed a pre-seed funding round of undisclosed amount and intends to use the funds to expand operations.
