Kashet is developing a membership-based financial solution app that will offer cards, foreign-currency services, domestic and international payments, and access to digital currencies under Swiss law. The company targets customers and private bank clients and has been operating in stealth while building regulatory and payments infrastructure. Kashet has joined Mastercard and says it has obtained UK FCA E-Money, AISP and PISP licences. It intends to submit applications for UK FCA 5MLD registration and a Swiss Fintech License with FINMA. The firm raised CHF 6.2M to support expansion and readiness for further growth. Kashet is led by Joint CEO Chris Jones and says a Series A is in progress with a launch planned later in the year.
