Katalyst is a Las Vegas, Nevada–based health and fitness company that brings EMS-specific training to an at-home format. Led by CEO Bjoern Woltermann, the company offers a system that delivers a two-hour workout in 20 minutes and claims to directly activate up to 90% of muscle fibers. Katalyst has shipped more than 1,200 units through an Early Access program to users including professional athletes, physicians, and celebrities such as Bradley Cooper and Cindy Crawford. The company raised $26M in a Series A led by Stripes, with participation from Incisive Ventures, Unlock Venture Partners, Robert Nelsen, Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber.
