Overview

Katalyst Space Technologies develops robotic spacecraft for on-orbit servicing, rendezvous and proximity operations, and space domain awareness tasks. Its Link spacecraft is complete, integrated with a Pegasus XL launch vehicle, and scheduled to attach to NASA’s Neil Gehrels Swift Observatory to raise its declining low Earth orbit. The company is also building Nexus-1, a geostationary servicing vehicle planned to launch in 2027 on an Ariane 6 to install a space domain awareness sensor on a U.S. Space Force satellite and perform additional RPOs before offering commercial services. Katalyst earned a NASA contract last September for the Swift reboost mission, demonstrating rapid development and operational progress. The company recently raised $12 million in a round led by Geodesic Capital with participation from Fortitude Ventures and other investors to fund Nexus development.
