Katana Graph
2222 Rio Grande Street Suite 300, Austin, Texas, 78705, United States
Overview
Katana Graph provides graph-processing software that lets businesses ingest and analyze very large unstructured datasets in memory. The platform works in Python and compiles data using C++ to accelerate ingest and processing; the company reports reducing ingest time from days to about 20 minutes for large graphs. Katana Graph’s customers include organizations in health, pharmaceuticals, and security, and one customer manages a graph with 4.3 trillion pages. The company was founded by UT‑Austin professors Keshav Pingali and Chris Rossbach and grew out of a research group that advised DARPA on data-at-scale projects. Katana Graph has 25 employees and is using new funding to expand its marketing, sales, and engineering teams.
