Overview
Keboola offers a data preparation platform that helps customers capture, analyse and reveal crucial information to power analytics and AI projects such as churn prediction, logistics flow and revenue forecasting. The company positions its product to enable one-click data project setups that can be augmented as needed, claiming up to a 10x improvement in data-engineering speed and reduced costs for clients. Named customers include Rohlik Group, Publicis Groupe, Deloitte, Erste Group, BNP Paribas and Allegro. Keboola says customers have gained fuller control of their data and processes and are using the platform across business AI initiatives. The fresh capital is earmarked to support the company’s 2024 expansion plans across Continental Europe, the UK and the US. The business is Prague-based and has been scaling commercially following an earlier seed round. Keboola is a Data Platform as a Service built on top of Snowflake designed to help customers accelerate data projects. Its platform delivers an end-to-end infrastructure for businesses of any size, with a front end operable by non-technical business users and back-end API integrations for developers. By integrating the entire data stack and automating infrastructure operations, Keboola reduces maintenance and management friction and lets organizations focus on turning data into business intelligence and new products. The platform brings tools such as dbt, Apache Spark, MLflow, OpenLineage, Jupyter and Hightouch under a single interface wired for enterprise governance. Keboola serves clients including RBI, DXC, ProductBoard, Mall Group and Rohlik Group across retail, eCommerce, marketing, financial services and hospitality. Led by CEO Pavel Doležal and founded in 2017 in Prague, the company expects $8 million in revenue in 2022 and to at least double that in 2023.
