Overview
Keep Technologies builds a suite of in-car security devices anchored around the Knight, a cup‑holder intrusion and motion detector with a fisheye camera, cellular connectivity, PIR and microwave sensors that connects to the vehicle OBD port. The Knight automatically arms via Bluetooth when the owner leaves and can record and transmit video to the cloud; Keep also offers a professional monitoring service. The company plans a $299 price point for the Knight with a $50/year subscription and an optional professional monitoring tier around $30/month, and aims to launch mid‑2022. Keep has developed additional hardware SKUs — the camera-less Pawn and the windshield‑mounted Rook — and is working on add‑ons like a catalytic converter guard, seat and door sensors, in-cup wireless charging and a GPS tag. The startup holds five issued utility patents with another 16 pending and has architected a windshield puck called Lookout for recording traffic stops and potential partner integrations. The team is about 11 people and the company was founded in fall 2020 in Atlanta.
