Founded in July 2024, Kela Technologies builds an open-architecture command-and-control platform designed to integrate sensors, radar, drones and weapons to create a unified real-time picture for border operations. The company has rapidly grown from dozens to about 150 employees and primarily serves Israel’s Ministry of Defense, deploying its systems to a high double-digit number of outposts across multiple borders. Kela reported roughly $20 million in revenue in 2025 and sources say it signed over $50 million in contracts last year, while moving from development into field deployment and production. The company opened a factory in southern Israel that includes ammunition production and has focused on integrating both its own and third-party UAVs and mini-drones into its platform. Kela competes on a relatively open, modular approach and aggressive pricing to win initial projects, and it intends to expand its operations and customer base, including plans to enter the U.S. market.
