Kelvin builds a pure‑software platform that applies computer vision and machine learning to streamline home energy audits. The company trains bespoke AI models on open data (including satellite imagery) and its own dataset of millions of photos and energy assessments. It also provides a remote inspection tool with a bot that guides photo and video capture and models that detect features such as radiators, doors, ceiling height, boilers and ventilation units. Kelvin intentionally avoids 3D lidar to keep the tool usable at scale with ordinary smartphones. Potential customers include construction companies, real estate firms and financial institutions that need accurate renovation assessments. The startup has raised €4.7 million to date, with Racine² leading the round and participation from Bpifrance, Seedcamp, Raise Capital, Kima Ventures, Motier Ventures and business angels.
