Keriton Inc
905 N. Bethlehem Pike #140, Spring House, PA, 19477, United States
Overview
Keriton builds a HIPAA-compliant suite of smartphone apps and preprinted barcode labels to automate breast milk management in neonatal intensive care units. Its system includes three apps for hospital staff and one mother-facing app, Keriton Kare Mom, which logs pumping, provides lactation analytics, enables chat, and allows nurses to send photos. The product combines in-hospital workflows with at-home tracking to reduce manual data entry and help nurses match milk to the correct infant. Keriton has begun piloting its technology and plans deployments in several U.S. hospitals, including an upcoming pilot at Penn Medicine. The startup recently raised $1 million to begin those pilots. The team includes four employees at Drexel University's IC@3401 incubator in Philadelphia and two software developers in India; CEO Vidur Bhatnagar founded the company after work at SAP India and projects started at PennApps.
