Kiin Bio is developing KiinOS, an AI-native Virtual Scientist Platform that integrates virtual scientists, an agentic marketplace, and scalable infrastructure to streamline literature review, bioinformatics and wet-lab execution. The company secured an oversubscribed €1.9 million pre-Seed investment to launch KiinOS and plans a community edition for researchers later this year. Funds will be used to grow its client base, enhance AI capabilities, and scale the team. Kiin Bio has initiated three pilot projects and secured three commercial partnerships through its Frontier Programme. The startup also won a European grant from the ELSA Industry Awards and projects the drug-discovery GenAI market could generate up to €96 million in the coming years. Its leadership team includes experienced hires from Lifebit, Benevolent AI and EMBL-EBI, spanning AI, bioinformatics, cloud infrastructure and drug discovery.
