Kiind operates a virtual gift‑card platform that only charges companies for the virtual cards they send once recipients redeem them. The service offers cards from retailers including Amazon, Columbia Sportswear, Gap, several chain restaurants and Rdio, and integrates with MailChimp and Salesforce to support B2B rewards and incentives workflows. Senders can include purchase suggestions (the company defaults to business books for corporate sends) and can now select up to five gift suggestions for Amazon cards. Businesses can set expiry dates, track redemptions, and resend expired cards; unused cards do not incur charges. Kiind charges a processing fee and takes a 5–15% kickback from retailers when recipients buy products with its cards. The company has raised $495,000 in angel funding and employs six people in addition to its two co‑founders; Leif Baradoy is CEO and president.
