kikitori provides nimaru, a cloud platform launched in October 2019 that replaces paper, phone, and FAX processes in agricultural (especially produce) distribution. The service focuses on the 3-trillion-yen vegetable and fruit distribution market and supports data linkage with external partners, used by JAs, wholesale markets, and producers. Nimaru reports over 5 million registered boxes annually, more than 80 customer organizations nationwide, and 5,000+ producers using the service. kikitori plans to expand nimaru’s functionality to cover a broader set of on-site operations and to accelerate nationwide adoption.
