Kimia Therapeutics is building ATLAS, a next-generation therapeutics discovery platform that pairs high-throughput, nano‑liter scale chemistry with active learning, automated synthesis and screening. ATLAS integrates proteomics, genome editing and machine learning to identify druggable sites and generate drug leads across biological pathways. The platform gives Kimia rapid access to billions of drug-like compounds and continuous learning from synthesis and assay readouts to drive new compound design. Kimia launched in January 2023 as a spin‑off from Carmot and holds a license to Carmot’s Chemotype Evolution technology outside the metabolic field. The company plans to apply ATLAS to a broad range of therapeutic targets in oncology, immunology and inflammation while continuing partnership work with Carmot. Machine learning and computational chemistry are core to its approach, enabling generative drug design from the data ATLAS produces.
