OrangeScape launched Kissflow, a workflow-builder deeply integrated with Google Apps that lets businesses create workflows in five steps: naming the process, designing the form, defining the workflow, configuring permissions, and publishing. Kissflow integrates with Google Apps so customers can attach Google Docs directly to workflows and collaborate with others in their Google Apps domain; the interface is meant to be reminiscent of Gmail. For security and control, each business on Kissflow gets a separate database on Google Cloud SQL. Kissflow will be available in the Google Apps Marketplace and is free for up to 10 users, then costs $3 per user thereafter. OrangeScape was founded by CEO Suresh Sambandam and CTO Mani Doraisamy. The company has raised a $1 million bridge round from angel investors and plans to raise a larger $10 million round later this year. OrangeScape will demonstrate Kissflow at Google I/O.
