KIT Plugins develops digital audio plug-ins that emulate rare analog studio equipment, letting users recreate vintage preamps, equalizers and other gear in software. The company sells nine plug-ins priced between $29 and $200 and has more than 6,000 paid customers. Since launch it reports average monthly paid-customer growth of 9% and monthly order growth of 14%. KIT was founded in 2020 and is based in Nashville. The startup plans to use new funding to accelerate plug-in development, build more products faster, and speed development of new technology using artificial intelligence. It is also building a broader platform and community, including a subsidiary brand called NOIZ Hub that offers educational content and collaboration resources.
