Kiwup, launched in 2012 by CEO Vincent Swift, operates SimpleMail, an email marketing platform. SimpleMail lets users create, deliver and analyze email campaigns and currently serves more than 7,000 enterprises, primarily e-commerce sites and web agencies. The company also operates the email template marketplace Stamplia. Kiwup completed a €1.3m second funding round led by Xange Private Equity, with participation from Kima Ventures and Nestadio Capital. It previously raised €100k from Kima Ventures in October 2012. The company intends to use the funds to develop and launch a new version of SimpleMail in 2015 and to strengthen its eleven-person team by hiring technical profiles.
