Kizy Tracking builds a low-cost B2B tracking system comprising compact trackers and a data platform for supply chains. Founded in 2014 by Torsten Wilm, Alexandre Luyet, Ruud Riem-Vis and Bertrand Spath, the company employs 10 people. Kizy operates out of offices in Neuchâtel, Switzerland and Taipei and is often cited by supply chain experts as a disruptive solution for international logistics operations. Kizy Tracking builds a compact, rechargeable GSM-based tracker and a customizable online platform to enable real-time tracking of shipments and goods without a subscription. The tracker weighs no more than 30 grams, offers up to one year of autonomy, is reusable, and provides coverage in more than 97% of countries with accuracy to within a few hundred meters. Unlike GPS-based solutions, the system uses the existing mobile (GSM) network and is designed to work inside buildings and containers without additional infrastructure. The company highlights market tailwinds, noting the geolocation market is growing about 30% per year. Kizy Tracking collaborates with regional partners including EPFL and has been evaluated and supported by the Neode technology park. It currently employs five people and plans to hire qualified staff in the coming months.
