Klarys (formerly Procsea)
Avenue d'Ouchy, Lausanne, 41006, Switzerland
Overview
Founded in 2016 by Renaud Enjalbert and Florian Dhaisne, ProcSea runs an open, commitment-free B2B seafood marketplace that links restaurants, wholesalers, fishmongers and central buying services in real time. The platform gives food professionals direct access to freshly caught and processed seafood—including cephalopods, crustaceans, shellfish and recently added deli products—and allows buyers to filter by numerous criteria. ProcSea emphasizes total transparency and champions local distribution channels through its dense network of sellers across France, the United Kingdom (London) and Switzerland. The company offers free access to build liquidity on the platform and has been expanding its seller base across Europe. ProcSea plans to extend its product offering and add new technologies, including integrating artificial intelligence into modules for calls for bids, pre-orders and pre-sales to improve customer experience. Procsea operates a B2B SaaS marketplace for seafood products that brings together fishermen and wholesalers with foodservice professionals, retailers and fishmongers. Founded in September 2016 by Renaud Enjalbert and Florian Dhaisne, the platform currently lists 1,170 products. The company is Franco‑Swiss with operations in Lausanne and Rennes. Procsea intends to use new funding to accelerate market development and help modernize a traditionally non-digital seafood supply chain. The product is positioned to streamline sourcing and expand the marketplace's reach within the food and beverage trade. ProcSea operates a B2B marketplace that lets restaurants and retailers order directly from multiple fishmongers and producers, with delivery in under 24 hours to preserve freshness. Launched five months before the round, the platform already connects fishmongers with over 150 gourmet restaurants and 5‑star hotels. The idea grew from CEO Renaud Enjalbert's experience in seafood import‑export between Scotland and France. ProcSea aims to digitize and disrupt the traditional seafood supply chain and targets a large European market reportedly worth 55 billion francs annually. The company has received recognition as the winner of Réseau Entreprendre Suisse Romande. Management says additional financing rounds are planned to support growth and hiring to scale in the sector.
