Klarytee provides a software platform that embeds encryption and access control directly into sensitive data so organisations retain visibility and control no matter where information goes. Founded by Dr Nithin Thomas, the platform integrates a local LLM to scan for sensitive information and applies protection by default. As a Microsoft Partner the company launched its first product as an add-in for Microsoft Office, including a Microsoft Word add-in for one-click encryption, decryption and authentication. Decrypted data exists only in the memory of the user's device or application and is erased when the app or device is closed. Customers are using Klarytee for privileged sharing by investment banking deal teams and when leveraging SaaS and public cloud services such as generative AI. The company raised £700K in a pre-seed round to provide protection against leaks for sectors that handle sensitive material.
