Overview
Klassroom is a Paris-based provider of a parent-teacher communication platform serving pre-kindergarten and elementary classrooms. The mobile and web app offers remote learning, video-conferencing, homework management, and a class feed for announcements, pictures, polls, events, and documents. Built-in translation renders all posts and private messages into 100 languages, and the interface is accessible to visually impaired users. Adoption grows virally: when one teacher activates the app, colleagues in the same school typically follow, and teachers can set up a new class in minutes. The platform is already in use in thousands of English, French, and Spanish-speaking classrooms across 30 countries, including more than 700 U.S. educators during the last school year. Co-founded by Frank-David Cohen and Damien Rottemberg, the company is now focused on accelerating international expansion, especially in the United States. A recent $3 million seed round provides the capital to support this growth push.
