KlowdTV is a live streaming TV startup based in Fairfax, Va. It operates a live streaming platform available on Mac and PC browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Internet Explorer 9+), on most Android devices 4.1 and higher and iOS devices, mobile apps and a range of streaming-TV devices (Roku, Amazon Fire, Sony Smart TVs, Hisense TVs, TiVos, Samsung Blu Ray Players and other OperaTV-enabled devices). The company recently launched a $3-per-month news channel package that includes Bloomberg HD, Sky News International, Newsmax, One America News, France 24 and RT America. According to an SEC filing, KlowdTV raised $635K in a mix of debt and equity financing. Six backers have already invested in the offering, which has a final target of $1M. William O’Hara is identified as CEO of the company.
