Klub is a revenue-based financing platform providing flexible growth capital ranging from Rs 2 lakh to Rs 30 crore with zero equity dilution or personal guarantees. It funds recurring marketing, inventory and CAPEX spends for a wide variety of digital-first companies and SMEs and has supported direct-to-consumer brands such as SMOOR, The Label Life, Petsutra, Tjori and TagZ Foods. Klub uses a data-driven underwriting process that pulls third-party data via APIs (banking, financial statements, GST) to assess risk and make faster funding decisions. The firm operates as a hybrid marketplace, sourcing capital from institutional partners and super-fans of the brand. Klub says over 500 businesses have explored funding and it aims to fund 350 brands and partner with 5,000+ patrons by the end of 2021. The fresh $20 million seed will be used to hire staff to accelerate its data platform and expand into new product offerings and market segments, and the company is exploring other South Asian markets.
