Overview
Klue combines automated intel collection from public and private sources with integrations (Slack, Highspot, Salesforce) to surface organized, actionable competitive insights. The platform distributes content and gives sellers real-time access to insights to improve competitive deal performance. Klue describes its system as machine- and human-driven, pulling raw intel from coworkers, internal systems and the web and curating it into usable insights. The company plans to invest heavily in product development, doubling down on AI capabilities to automate insight generation and unlock new market opportunities. Future product work includes deeper integrations with enterprise tools (Slack, Salesforce, Gong, Highspot, Gainsight), multi-user collaborative and security features, and a lighter self-serve product for smaller companies and B2C users. Since launching in 2017, Klue has served nearly 400 enterprise clients, more than 110,000 users, and has seen 3x customer growth since its previous funding round. Klue is an AI-powered competitive enablement platform that helps product marketers and enablement teams curate intel from inside their company and across the web. It delivers insights in real-time to the field so salespeople get access to relevant, digestible competitive insights inside the tools they use every day. Led by CEO Jason Smith, the company serves more than a hundred customers, including Cisco, Tableau, SurveyMonkey, Red Hat and Shopify. Klue raised a $15M Series A, bringing total funding to $19M, and intends to use the funds to accelerate product and machine learning development. The round included participation from venture firms and several angel investors. The company is based in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Klue operates a competitive intelligence SaaS platform that collects millions of articles, posts and website changes daily and consolidates them with internal signals into battlecards, profiles and living dashboards for sales and enablement teams. The product combines coworker-shared intel (via Chrome extension, email, Slack and Salesforce) with bot-collected web data and uses machine learning to auto-create, tag and update cards covering job postings, funding, headcount, financials, news and Salesforce content. Salespeople access digestible insight cards via Salesforce, Slack, Chrome, email, a native iOS app or Klue’s web platform, while product marketers and enablement teams use the tool to create and maintain competitive content. Klue was founded by Jason Smith and Sarathy Naicker and highlights mid-to-large B2B customers including Adaptive Insights, Dell EMC, Hootsuite, Sage and Paychex. The company positions itself between automated data providers and manual knowledge-management tools by auto-creating and updating cards and consolidating private internal intel with public signals. Klue announced $4 million in funding at launch to support its product and commercial efforts.
