Its insurance program, crafted in partnership with Marsh, covers theft and “internal collusion” up to the full value of the digital asset holdings. KNØX emphasizes that custody is a required service under existing regulation and that comprehensive insurance helps fiduciaries meet their obligations. Over the past year the company focused on insurance underwriting, strategic partnerships, audits and operations. KNØX received its first multi-million dollar BTC deposit in 2018 and has since developed custody and insurance offerings. The company completed a recent $6.2 million funding round.
