K4 Mobility builds a digital platform delivering Off-Grid Internet (OGi) solutions with an initial focus on the maritime market. Its service targets ship operators and captains, addressing reliability, speed, and easy administration for vessel internet connectivity. The startup was co‑founded by Michael Small and Anand Chari, the former CEO and CTO of in‑flight WiFi maker Gogo, and applies lessons from airborne internet to the larger maritime market.
