Koios builds a voice-driven AI platform that analyzes at least 90 seconds of active speech to generate customised personality and management insights. The company developed state-of-the-art audio deep-learning models trained on original data collection to infer personality from voice. Its product is positioned as an enablement tool to help managers communicate, motivate and develop employees, and to reduce friction from self-assessments. Founders include former Spotify and Snap recruiter Tom Sherwood, Seedcamp talent manager Alex Lewis, and QuantCo research data scientist Martin Lukac. Koios says it aims to deliver a more cost-effective, broadly adoptable alternative to traditional personality assessments, arguing much of the market (they cite 93%) is currently underserved. The startup plans to launch its platform in September and continue product development.
