Kolum offers an end-to-end software solution that guides importers and non-EU manufacturers through CBAM-specific calculation and reporting requirements. The platform integrates with existing processes to simplify tracking of supply-chain emissions and to generate compliant reports. Kolum’s tools are targeted at sectors affected by CBAM such as cement, iron and steel, aluminum, fertilizers, electricity, and hydrogen. The company launched an MVP in closed beta in January 2024 and, despite operating for about six months, is already working with large enterprises and consultancies across Europe. The new €2.1M Pre-Seed will be used to accelerate product development and to onboard more companies within and outside the EU. Kolum positions itself to address growing regulatory demand as other regions plan similar carbon-pricing requirements by 2027.
