Komugi develops MES software that aggregates data from IT systems, sensors and controllers to provide real-time visibility and control of factory operations. The company describes its tool as a three-step improvement process: know, analyze, improve, and positions the MES as the "conductor" of the shop floor. Founded in 2020 and based in Thonon-les-Bains (Haute-Savoie), Komugi already serves about 2,000 users across 17 sites in France and has deployments in 11 industry sectors. The startup plans European expansion and aims to have its MES in 100 factories by the end of 2023. To support growth it plans to recruit 23 people this year. Komugi recently raised €1 million to finance this deployment and scaling.
