Konotor is a user engagement platform for mobile apps, developed by Chennai-based Demach Software India Pvt Ltd. The company received $125,000 (Rs 73 lakh) in funding from Qualcomm Ventures and Accel Partners after winning Qualcomm's QPrize 2014 India edition. The prize funding is being provided as a convertible note to support the company’s expansion. As the India regional winner, Konotor will compete with other regional winners globally in the QPrize Grand Finals for a $150,000 grand prize. The award follows QPrize’s aim of identifying and funding promising early-stage technology companies; this was the fourth edition of the program.
