Koolbridge Solar, Inc. designs, develops and sells electrical products that enable solar energy integration for homes, commercial properties and solar farms. Its initial product, the Smart Load Center™, is a solar/utility energy breaker box that can automatically select power, circuit by circuit, from solar, the utility grid, batteries or a generator. The Smart Load Center uses a microcontroller to dynamically switch each breaker based on availability of utility and solar power, preset user priorities, battery charge status, time of day, instantaneous consumption, historical consumption patterns and weather conditions. The company offers patented and patent-pending prototyped products and is developing software to support its hardware. Koolbridge closed a $500k funding round and has begun a second-round $1M equity raise to support commercialization of its software and products. The company is led by Co-Founder, Chairman and CEO J.
