Kore Digital Mining is a Bitcoin mining company based in Edinburgh, Scotland, led by founder and CEO Derek Nisbet. The company focuses on expanding hash rate and infrastructure capacity through partnerships with global operators to provide technological resources that enhance Bitcoin network security and decentralization. It plans to use newly raised funds to acquire advanced mining hardware, specifically five Antminer S21 200 Th/s units and ten immersion-cooled Whatsminer M66S 288 Th/s miners. The new equipment is projected to triple Kore’s hash rate to approximately 6 PH/s. Kore raised $150K in Seed funding and previously raised an initial $100K upon creation in May 2023.
