Kovrr offers an end-to-end platform that delivers transparent, data-driven insights enabling insurance carriers, reinsurers and government regulators to quantify and manage cyber risk across all lines of insurance. The platform trains predictive cyber risk models using open-source, proprietary and third-party business and threat intelligence data. Kovrr’s technology aims to quantify potential financial loss from various cyber events and to surface silent cyber exposures as well as risks from new policies. The company was founded in 2017 in Tel Aviv by Yakir Golan (CEO), Shalom Bublil (CRO) and Avi Bashan (VP R&D). Kovrr announced a $5.5M financing to support product development and to accelerate its global growth and commercial reach. Management says the funds will also be used to expand data harvesting and enhance predictive modeling capabilities.
