Koyeb

Overview
Koyeb offers a serverless platform built on high-performance micro-virtual machines that lets developers run applications, APIs and databases without rewriting code. The platform is language-agnostic and supports git-based, Dockerfile and container-registry deployments. Built-in features include a native continuous deployment pipeline, global load balancing across an extensive edge network, private networking and multiregion deployments across three continents. Koyeb supports horizontal scaling and connection protocols such as HTTP/2, gRPC and WebSocket. It provides developer tooling including the Koyeb API, CLI and infrastructure-as-code providers for Terraform and Pulumi, plus documentation for a self-service experience. The company was founded in Paris in 2020 and recently raised new funding to advance the platform. Koyeb builds a serverless data-processing engine that ingests, processes and stores data across multiple cloud providers. It provides the serverless "glue" to mix-and-match cloud-native APIs and storage services. Users can run workflows on schedules or trigger them by events; everything scales automatically and billing stops once a workflow is complete. Koyeb supports many storage providers, including AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, Wasabi, Backblaze B2 and object storage from DigitalOcean, Linode, Scaleway and Vultr. The platform also lets customers deploy custom Docker containers and push functions from GitHub to build custom processing functions. The company announced a $1.6M (€1.4M) pre-seed round.
