Overview
Kreatize operates a fully automated digital platform that supports production of industrial components for the mechanical engineering sector and connects manufacturing partners. Led by CEO and co-founder Simon Tüchelmann and Daniel A. Garcia Rodriguez, the company serves primarily the manufacturing industry. It reports more than 200 customers and 300 manufacturing partners and has over 30 employees in Berlin and Tübingen. In February 2019 Kreatize raised €4m in a Series A round. Backers included Earlybird Venture Capital and Atlantic Labs. The company plans to use the funds to expand the platform and apply data evaluation and machine learning to optimize capacities, pricing, and transparency. Kreatize builds a one-stop platform that digitalizes processes from initial customer contact to automatic quotation preparation and production planning for custom parts. Founded in 2015 and operating from Tübingen and Berlin, the company supports additive manufacturing (3D printing), CNC machining and casting, and offers access to more than 1,000 materials and specialized suppliers. The startup is currently in closed beta and uses direct sales to onboard suppliers and customers while preparing to scale marketing and lead acquisition. Kreatize employs a team of 20+ people and aims to simplify ordering prototypes and small-batch series. It recently closed a seven-digit financing round to support growth. The long-term goal is to become a global platform enabling companies to order, collaborate and manufacture parts seamlessly.
