Krystallize Technologies launched CloudQoS™, a platform performance management (PPM) service that measures 80 different performance metrics to help enterprises, hosting providers, cloud service providers and system integrators compare and manage cloud performance. The service includes the Platform QoSAgent™ (pQoS™) software agent that can simulate application workloads across cloud environments and delivers real user‑experience data via a web interface with no programming or scripting required. CloudQoS is designed to support service planning, architecture management, performance management, service delivery and capacity management, and can be turned up in minutes from sign up to receiving data. The company positions the product to help customers choose, audit and adjust cloud and hosting services and to measure private cloud performance. Krystallize says the service is available today and also publishes a CloudQoS Index as part of its offering. Financially, the company recently closed a $1.2 million seed round from a number of angel investors.
