Kumulus Water

14 Avenue du General de Gaulle, Saint-Mandé, Ile-de-France, 94160, France

Overview

Kumulus Water builds atmospheric water generators (AWGs) that draw in ambient air, filter particulates, condense moisture, and run a proprietary multi-stage filtration and remineralisation process to produce safe drinking water. The systems are fully autonomous, can be remotely monitored and controlled via mobile and web apps, and can run on standard electricity or solar power. Units produce about 20–30 litres of drinking water per day and are designed to operate off-grid without local infrastructure. Kumulus machines are already serving schools, hotels and communities across Europe, Africa and the Middle East, and are also suitable for work camps and remote camps. The company is backed by a strategic partnership with bottled-water company Spadel and has raised €3.1 million in Seed funding. Kumulus plans to accelerate development of Kumulus Boks, a new high-capacity line for industrial and community-scale use, and to strengthen its presence in France, Spain and Tunisia while expanding into Saudi Arabia.
