8 rue Halévy, Paris, Ile-de-France, 75009, France
Overview
Kyotherm, founded in 2011 and based in Paris, provides third‑party financing for renewable heat production and energy‑efficiency projects. The firm finances projects across biomass, geothermal, solar thermal, waste‑heat recovery, lighting and insulation, targeting high CO2 impact per euro invested. It has built a portfolio of about 130 MW across roughly 100 sites and estimates this capacity avoids more than 1,500,000 tons of CO2. Kyotherm supports large industrial clients such as ArcelorMittal and Faurecia and can invest without geographical restriction, with subsidiaries in France, the US, Germany, Italy, the UK and the Netherlands. The company passed 100 MW in operation in 2021 and aims to reach 200 MW by end‑2022 and 500 MW by 2025. Recent fundraising is intended to accelerate that deployment and expand its impact infrastructure.
